Greens choose de Burca as European candidate

Senator Deirdre de Burca was today officially named as the Green Party candidate for the European elections in Dublin next year.

Ms de Burca, who was selected unopposed, will try to reclaim the seat for the party which held it for two consecutive terms from the mid-1990s.
