Poll shows majority want immigration restricted

A new poll has found that almost two-thirds of adults in Ireland believe that immigration policy should be made more restrictive, given the worsening economic outlook.

The opinion poll by Amarach Research has been carried out for a national debate due to be held in Dublin this evening.
