Illegal vodka factory shut down

Authorities have smashed an illegal drinks factory in north inner city Dublin, set up to churn out dangerous counterfeits of big-brand vodka.

Customs officials said they were appalled by the unhygienic conditions and use of stagnant water at the bogus bottling plant.
