The Irish Family Planning Association has suspended providing services to medical card holders at its main clinic in Dublin.

It says it has been forced into the decision because of a lack of funding from the HSE.

Patients at its clinic on Cathal Brugha Street in Dublin are advised to go to their GP instead.

The IFPA says the move could have serious consequences.
