New initiative launch for people with intellectual disabilities

A new initiative is being launched today, which aims to simplify money matters for people with an intellectual disability.

Inclusion Ireland will publish a book later to help people with intellectual disabilities to manage their budgets and make their own decisions about their finances.

Chief Executive of Inclusion Ireland, Deirdre Carroll said: "If you explain to people in a clear and precise fashion, they will learn. Sometimes the information about managing our finances can be very complex."
