Gardaí question woman over toddler's death

A middle-aged woman was being questioned today over the death of a mother-of-three earlier this year.

Lily Scanlon was found dead in her home in Valleycourt, Athlone, Co Westmeath on May 9.

Gardaí said a 52-year-old was arrested in the town at 8.15am under section four of the Criminal Justice Act.
