Those with high heart rate 'most at risk of attacks'

A new study based on an Irish-made drug shows a link between the rate of a person's heartbeat and his or her risk from heart attacks.

According the research, the risk of heart failure in people with a heart rate of 70 beats or more is doubled, while the risk of cardiovascular death is up to a third higher.
