A post mortem examination is due to be carried out on the body of a man found in the grounds of Birr Castle in Co Offaly today.

A post mortem examination is due to be carried out on the body of a man found in the grounds of Birr Castle in Co Offaly today.

It is believed the remains are those of missing Birr man, 44-year-old Ger Murphy, who went missing in Birr three weeks ago.
