Two die in separate road accidents

Two people have been killed in road accidents overnight.

Gardaí in Waterford are appealing for witnesses after a 70-year-old pedestrian died in a road crash yesterday evening.

The woman was knocked down at about 7.30pm at Summerhill, Tramore.

Her body has been taken to Waterford Regional Hospital.

In County Tipperary, a 23-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle collision.

It happened at Kilmacomma, Clonmel, at 3.45am this morning.

Gardaí in Clonmel are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
