Village magazine to close

The Village magazine is closing its doors.

Journalist Vincent Browne, who owns the magazine, said he took the decision because of mounting losses and falling advertising revenues.

Three jobs are to go as a result of the closure.

Browne said he is not in a position to fund the projected losses of the magazine.
