Limerick County Council has lifted a boil-water notice issued to residents in the Rockhill area.

Limerick County Council has lifted a boil-water notice issued to residents in the Rockhill area.

The alert had been in place since last Wednesday following the discovery of E. coli in the local water supply.

More than 300 residents were affected.

Meanwhile, a boil-water notice remains in place for around 100 households in the Pallasgreen area of Limerick.
