Woman dies in Cork road accident

A 25-year-old woman has died in a two-car crash in Cork.

It happened at Commons Road shortly before 1am this morning.

The victim was the driver of one of the cars. The passenger received minor injuries.

The driver of the second car is receiving treatment for his injuries at Cork University Hospital.
