First civil rights school gets underway in Louth

Ireland's first civil rights summer school gets underway today.

The two-day event is taking place in Carlingford in Co Louth and involves talks on poverty, racism and inequality in Irish society.

Former president Mary Robinson will speak at the school tomorrow.
