Man questioned in connection with Cork gangland murder
A man was being questioned by detectives today over a suspected gangland murder more than a year ago.
The 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with the killing of David Brett in Co Cork last year.
The victim was found dead at Foyle, Ballydesmond, on May 21, 2007.
It is believed Brett, a drug dealer in the Cork area, was lured to a quiet country lane where he was shot.
The man is being detained at Bandon Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and can be held for up to three days.
