Planning body delays hearing into Meath incinerator
An Bord Pleanala has postponed a planned oral hearing on an application to build an incinerator in Co Meath.
The delay has been arranged to allow local planning authorities further time to make submissions on the project.
The hearing into the project at Nobber was due to go ahead next week following a pre-hearing on Monday, when the planning appeals body rejected calls for a delay from local objectors.
The board has now confirmed that it is giving the local planning authorities until September 16th to make submissions and the oral hearing will go ahead after that date.
