Entries welcomed for Pet of the Year competition

Animal lovers can now enter a competition to see if they have the best pet in Ireland.

The nationwide campaign is searching for the best loved Irish pet to celebrate World Animal Week, which takes place later this year.

It aims to highlight the benefits of owning a cat or dog, or a companion for those with a disability.
