Limerick drinking water ban lifted

A ban on drinking water issued in Co Limerick has been lifted.

A ban on drinking water issued in Co Limerick has been lifted.

More than 300 people were affected by the restriction, which was placed on the Rockhill public water scheme yesterday after high nitrate levels were detected.

Following extensive testing Limerick Co Council now says the water is of drinking standard.
