More heavy downpours forecast for today

More heavy rain and thundery conditions are being forecast for today following further flooding in many parts of the country yesterday.

Parts of Ulster and Connacht were flooded following heavy rain last night, while sections of the N2 and N3 in Meath and Dublin had to be closed after torrential downpours.
