Kerry student receives nine A1s in Leaving Cert

One student in Kerry has received nine A1 grades in this year's Leaving Cert exams.

Elsewhere, a further 13 pupils across the country have scored eight A1s.The overall results are broadly in line with previous years, with concern again being expressed over the high-failure rate in maths and the low number of students studying the subject at Higher Level.
