Man charged with murdering mother-of-four

A man was charged today with murdering pregnant mother-of-four Jean Quigley.

A man was charged today with murdering pregnant mother-of-four Jean Quigley.

Stephen Cahoon, originally from Moneymore, Co Derry, appeared at a special sitting of Carrick-on-Shannon District Court, Co Leitrim, today.

Ms Quigley, 30, was beaten to death at her Cornshell Fields home, Derry, on July 26.

Cahoon, 35, was detained in Donegal town on Tuesday.

He was later taken to hospital in Sligo but discharged on Thursday night.
