Man due in court charged with Quigley murder

A 35-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Jean Quigley in Derry last month.

A 35-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Jean Quigley in Derry last month.

He was arrested in Donegal town on Tuesday evening - he subsequently spent two nights at Sligo General hospital after complaining of feeling unwell.

He is due to appear at Carrick-on-Shannon District Court this afternoon.

Jean Quigley, a mother-of-four, was murdered in Derry last month. She was pregnant with her fifth child at the time.
