Man held in relation to Derry murder returned to garda custody
A man arrested earlier this week in connection with the murder of Jean Quigley in Derry has been taken back into garda custody in Co Donegal.
The 36-year-old was detained in Donegal town on Tuesday and taken to Ballyshannon Garda Station.
However he complained of being unwell and was moved to Sligo General Hospital, where he subsequently spent two nights.
He has now been taken back to Ballyshannon for questioning about the murder of Ms Quigley, who was found beaten to death at her home in Derry's Cornshell Fields estate last month.
The mother-of-four was two months pregnant with her fifth child.
