Six people rescued from Carrauntuohill
Six people have been rescued from Carrauntuohill in Co Kerry after getting into difficulty on the mountain last night.
The alarm was raised at around 1am and more than 20 members of the Kerry Mountain Rescue Team launched a search operation.
The group was located just after 4am.
One man in his 50s was suffering from exhaustion and was being stretchered down the mountain this morning.
The five teenagers who were in his company are all in good health and were able to walk back down to safety.
