Man in serious condition following Tipperary crash

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a two car-collision in Roscrea, Co Tipperary which has left a man in his 60s is in a serious condition.

The incident happened when one of the cars hit a pedestrian at the junction of Grove Street and Lourdes Road in the town, at 5.30pm on Wednesday evening.

The man was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital.

The driver of one of the cars was also taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
