Tyrone man survives after parachute fails in US jump

A Co Tyrone man has survived a nightmare parachute jump in the US in which he plunged to earth after his chute malfunctioned.

Paul McMahon, 29, an experienced sky-diver, was taking part in a jump last Saturday when his parachute failed to open properly.
