Teen charged with sex assaults remanded on bail

A 14-year-old boy, who is charged with sexually assaulting two women in their twenties, has been remanded on continuing bail at the Dublin Children’s Court.

Defence solicitor Mr Gareth Noble told Judge Clare Leonard today that directions from the DPP needed to be sought on whether the prosecution should proceed, in light of the defendant’s young age.
