Murder investigation launched after death of Derry woman

A murder investigation is underway in the North following the death of a woman in Derry.

The woman, who is being named as Jean Quigley was found dead in a house in the Cornshell Fields area of the city.

Detectives from the PSNI major investigations unit are looking to speak to anyone who noticed anything unusual in the area between Friday and Saturday nights.

No arrests have yet been made in the case.
