Minister for Justice Dermot Ahern has apologised to a Somalian woman after a "systems failure" in his Department meant her husband and three children were mistakenly left in a refugee camp for three years.

Minister for Justice Dermot Ahern has apologised to a Somalian woman after a "systems failure" in his Department meant her husband and three children were mistakenly left in a refugee camp for three years.

The woman's family were never notified that they had been issued with visas allowing them to come to Ireland in 2005.
