ESB plans to cut carbon emissions

The ESB has announced plans to cut its business carbon emissions by 30%.

The state-owned electricity firm says it will look at the lighting and heating of its buildings and offices as well as the operations of its 2,000-strong fleet.

The Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Eamon Ryan has welcoming the plan.
