Victim shot by masked men in Belfast

A man underwent emergency treatment in hospital after being shot in north Belfast.

The victim sustained a number of wounds to his leg during the incident in the Jamaica Court area.

Three masked men entered a home at around 11.30pm yesterday and shot the man. They made off in the direction of Jamaica Road.

Police appealed for witnesses to come forward.
