Gardaí in Waterford are investigating an arson attack on a house in the city in the early hours of this morning.

A petrol bomb was thrown through the window of the house on Hennessy's Road, which was unoccupied at the time.

The incident happened in the Ashling Court area at around 2.40am and is the sixth such attack in the city since the weekend.

All six are believed to be linked to an ongoing feud in the city.
