Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Dublin murder

Gardaí investigating the murder of Denis Brennan in Dublin earlier this week are appealing to taxi drivers who were in the Kilmainham area to come forward.

The 60-year-old seperated father was found dead in the sitting room of his apartment in Bow Bridge Court on Tuesday.

A post mortem examination did not reveal how Mr Brennan died and Gardaí are awaiting more test results.

They are also appealing for any taxi drivers who were in the area of James Street, Bow Lane or Thomas Street in the early hours of Sunday the 6th of July and who may have picked up a man to come forward.

There was no sign of a break-in at Mr. Brennan's apartment and Gardaí say there is no clear motive for his murder.
