Passengers stranded by Fáilte Travel in Cyprus
More than 130 passengers have been left stranded in Cyprus after Irish tour operator Fáilte Travel ceased trading with immediate effect.
The passengers were due to arrive home from their holiday last night, but they were put up in a hotel for the night while the Commission for Aviation Regulation tries to resolve the situation.
Sunway Travel had 50 passengers due to return home on that flight; the company says it's working to get those passengers home as soon as possible.
A flight from Dublin to Paphos which was scheduled to take off this morning has also been cancelled.
