Five months for ATM cash thief

A youth has been detained for five months for stealing €200 from a man who was distracted while withdrawing money from an ATM on Dublin’s O’Connell St.

The youth, who is originally from Romania, pleaded guilty at the Dublin Children’s Court to the theft which took place on February 27 last.
