Real IRA 'not involved in murder of Derry man'
The group regarded as the political wing of the Real IRA has denied any involvement in the murder of a 22-year-old man in Derry yesterday morning.
Emmett Shiels was shot dead after apparently intervening in an altercation between a group of masked men and a number of local youths.
Dissident republicans are being blamed, but the 32 County Sovereignty Movement says the Real IRA was not involved.
The organisation says it condemns the killing and has also accused some people of using community anger to score points over political opponents.
