Further M50 changes as works continue
More changes are on the way for Dublin's M50 due to the upgrade works being carried out on the motorway.
Motorists joining the M50 at Junction 9 - The Red Cow Roundabout - are being warned that the northbound off-ramp to is being relocated to a temporary free flow loop.
While motorists travelling southbound to the N7 will no longer need to U-turn at the Ballymount junction, but will be directed back to the reopened free flow link to the N7.
The existing northbound off-ramp will be closed and traffic heading westbound on the N7 will be directed to a temporary free flow lane.
On the M50 northbound, city traffic will be directed to the temporary free flow loop. It will then U-turn back to merge with traffic travelling to the city.
Meanwhile, the Ballymount interchange will re-open with all traffic signals operating and the right hand turns restored.
