Residents of Nobber oppose plan for second incinerator

An Bord Pleanala is facing strong opposition from residents in Nobber, Co Meath to the construction of a second incinerator in the area.

Planning permission for an incinerator in nearby Duleek has already been granted.

Spokesperson for the North East Anti-Incineration Group John Keogan says locals are outraged at the proposal.

He says the incinerator in Duleek could easily accommodate the additional waste.
