Royal County woman crowned Miss Ireland

A 21-year old woman from Co Meath has been crowned the new Miss Ireland.

Sinéad Noonan is a drama student and has high hopes of becoming a famous Irish actress.

Sinead was picked by the judging panel at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry, Dublin last night.

She will now go on to represent Ireland in the Miss World competition in the Ukraine in October.
