Three arrested in Dublin drugs swoop

Three men were arrested after drugs were found in an industrial estate in west Dublin, gardaí said.

Officers from the Garda Organised Crime Unit and Clondalkin Drugs Unit discovered an undisclosed quantity of cannabis and heroin in Clondalkin.

The men who were arrested are currently detained in Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Garda Stations under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act), 1996.

The trio can be held in custody without charge for up to seven days.
