Teen dies after car crash

A 17-year-old girl died when the car in which she was a passenger was involved in a collision.

The incident occurred at Brackery Beg, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim at 3.20am on Saturday.

The teenager died yesterday in hospital.

Two other men aged in their 20s, who were occupants in the car, were also taken hospitalised following the collision.

Gardaí have appealed for information on the incident.
