Gilmore: Lisbon verdict must be respected

Labour Party leader Eamon Gilmore, who supported a Yes vote, said the judgment of the Irish people in the Lisbon Treaty referendum must be respected.

He said the result meant Europe was now entering an uncertain future but ruled out support for a second referendum.
