Simon Community concerned about rising homelessness

The Simon Community says it is concerned how homeless people are being affected by the economic downturn.

The organisation says that, while fishermen and farmers are demanding government intervention to protect their livelihoods, the number of people living rough is on the rise and there is no apparent panic.
