The trial of a Lithuanian man for allegedly killing a fellow countryman after they spent the day drinking and playing chess has continued on day-four with legal argument in the absence of the jury.

The trial of a Lithuanian man for allegedly killing a fellow countryman after they spent the day drinking and playing chess has continued on day-four with legal argument in the absence of the jury.

Rimantas Padimanskis (aged 44) of Lios Cian, Swords, Co Dublin has pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of Darijus Onusaitis on November 15, 2005 by stabbing him.

The jury of nine men and three women will return to court for the hearing before Judge Tony Hunt at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court when the legal argument concludes.
