Cowen confident Lisbon Treaty will be ratified

The Taoiseach, Brian Cowen, has said he is confident that a majority of Irish voters will support the Lisbon Treaty.

Mr Cowen was speaking today at Fianna Fáil's last major press conference before Thursday's referendum.
