The Minister for Health Mary Harney is to make a decision on whether teenage girls should be vaccinated against cervical cancer.

A report released by the Health Information and Quality Authority today indicated that a national cancer vaccination program, as well as cancer screening, could significantly reduce the rate of cervical cancer.
