New appeal court judge appointed

High Court judge Mr Justice Coghlin is being elevated to the Appeal Court of Northern Ireland, it was announced today.

He will be sworn into office before Northern Ireland Lord Chief Justice Brian Kerr on September 5, said the Court Service.
