Gardaí are appealing for motorists to slow down and take extra care on the roads following three fatal crashes so far this weekend.
Three men have died in separate collisions in Waterford, Cork and Leitrim.
One man was killed and another was seriously injured when the car they were travelling in crashed with a tractor on the N25 at Ardmore in Waterford yesterday evening.
Two hours earlier, a 63-year-old man died in a single vehicle crash at Cloone, County Leitrim.
Meanwhile, on Friday night a man in his 30s was killed in a two-car crash at Dromasta in County Cork.
