PSNI continue to question two in connection with kidnapping

Police in the North are continuing to question a man and a woman about the kidnap of a mother and her child.

The woman and her four-year-old son were taken hostage from their home in Killough in Co Down on Wednesday.

They were held for 12 hours in a vacant house in Belfast, while the kidnappers demanded ransom from the woman's partner.

The suspects were arrested yesterday and remain in police custody.
