Fourth person arrested in connection with Cavan gun murder

Gardaí have arrested a fourth person in connection with the murder of Darren McGrath in Co Cavan last week.

The man is in his 30s and is being questioned at Monaghan Garda Station.

Two other men and a woman arrested in connection with the case earlier this week had their period of detention extended by 24 hours last night.

Thirty-one-year-old Darren McGrath was shot dead at his home in the Kilconny Estate in Belturbet in the early hours of May 20.
