Phoenix Park in full bloom for garden show

Dublin’s Phoenix Park will be in full bloom today with a stunning garden show open to the public.

Bloom 2008 boasts a colourful garden and floral displays, interactive gardens installations and farmer’s markets. Designers and gardeners will also be on hand to give tips to budding green fingers.

Last year more than 50,000 people attended the event.

Organisers said the event, which runs until Monday, features a range of activities for everyone from seasoned horticulturist to young families.
